Membership
At IGLESIA, we believe membership is a biblical commitment to live together for the glory of God within the context of a local church. In the midst of a crowd, it is easy to remain anonymous, but Scripture calls believers to be known, shepherded, and joined to one another in a meaningful and accountable community. Membership reflects the unity of the body of Christ, places believers under loving pastoral care, and fosters shared responsibility, faithfulness, and mission.
Our membership process is simple, biblical, and intentional. It is designed to help you clearly understand who we are, what we believe, and what it means to belong to IGLESIA. The next steps toward membership are outlined below, and we look forward to walking alongside you throughout this process.
-
Attend our weekly services to worship with us, hear the preaching of God’s Word, and become familiar with the life and rhythm of IGLESIA.
-
Attend our monthly Welcome Orientation, held on the last Sunday of each month, where you’ll learn about our church’s history, our convictions, what we believe, and the mission God has given us.
-
Meet with a pastor so we can get to know you, hear your testimony and story, answer your questions, and walk through our Church Covenant and Statement of Faith together in greater depth.
-
Complete the membership application, affirming our Statement of Faith and committing to the membership vows. Applications are carefully and prayerfully reviewed by the pastors.
-
Be formally received and welcomed as a member of IGLESIA, committing to walk alongside the church in faith, mutual accountability, and mission.
